Task 11: Create a set of Hotpotatoes activities - JCloze

SCHOOL LEVEL:  4º ESO

OBJECTIVE: Revision exercises for the present perfect

Hot potatoes in the classroom

I have created various exercises from hotpotatoes based on the song "Have you ever seen the rain". These exercises are testing the students listening skills as well as their spelling and sentence structure.

These exercises can make reading and listening exercises more interactive. Using technology in the classroom increases students motivation because it appeals to a range of learning styles as well as being more dynamic and student centered.

What I like the most about hotpotatoes is the instant correction. This allows students to have instant feedback and avoids wasting time correcting in class.

Here is the first Hot Potatoes exercise:
JCloze - This program is suitable for creating cloze and fill-in-the-blank exercises. The blanks generated by this program can also be substituted for a dropdown menu with all the options that students are expected to enter, or users can insert a word bank to help students complete any given activity.

Someone me long ,
There's a calm before the ,
I know and it's been for some time.
When it's so they say
It'll rain a sunny day,
I know, down like water.
I want to know, have you ever seen the rain?
I want to know, have you ever seen the rain?
Coming down on a day
Yesterday and days ,
Sun is cold and rain is
I know, been that for all my time.
on it goes
Through the circle and slow,
I know, and I stop.
I wonder. I want to know, have you ever seen the rain?

Coming down on a day

Sun is cold and rain is
I know, been that for all my time.
